Latina Teen Fatally Stabbed In Feud Over A Boy In Texas

An 18-year-old girl was fatally stabbed in Texas on Friday after an online feud with another teen turned physical.

After weeks arguing on social media, Kaitlin Leonor Castilleja, alongside her friend Vivian Foster, also 18, went to the house of a 16-year-old girl to fight at about 1 a.m. During the brawl, which occured on the younger teen’s driveway, the 16-year-old, who has not been identified because she is a minor, pulled out a knife and stabbed both Castilleja and Foster.

Castilleja, who graduated from James Madison High School in 2018, was rushed to a hospital and pronounced dead just before 2 a.m. Foster reportedly suffered “superficial wounds.”

Following the attack, the suspect, a current student at the high school, called the police to say “she had been assaulted in her driveway when she arrived home from work,” later telling officials that the friends were “stating they want to fight her.”

Foster, too, told authorities that she and Castilleja had been assaulted after “jumping” a girl at her house.

The suspect, who allegedly briefly dated Castilleja’s ex-boyfriend before he returned to her, is being held at the Bexar County Juvenile Detention Center.

Castilleja’s aunt believes the deadly fight was related to the ex-boyfriend.

“She isn’t able to give you her side of the story, but it’s been ongoing bullying on both sides,” Marie Fernandez told the San Antonio Express News. “It’s social media. There’s so many factors that have contributed to this, and at the end of the day, whether it was wrong, in all aspects my niece had no intentions of hurting anyone.”

The aunt, who believes her niece was lured to the 16-year-old’s home and noted a video of the fight had been on social media, shared her grief with KENS.

“I broke, I was lost for words and I just sunk into my pillow and didn’t believe it,” she said of learning of the death of her niece, who recently expressed interest in studying nursing in college. “I thought I was waking up from a nightmare.”

Police are still investigating the fatal stabbing.

Fierce – Twitter Is Defending A Texan Makeup Artist After She Was Harassed For Telling A Potential Client She’s Gay

While the country may be celebrating Pride Month, that does not mean haters and homophobes have gone into hiding. We’re seeing a surge of hate crimes against the gay and trans community, some of them as severe as resulting in death. The latest incident comes out of Texas.

A bride-to-be was planning to hire Kristian Cardenas, a hair and makeup artist out of Lubbock, Texas, but when she found out she was gay, she unleashed hateful words.

Twitter/@Kristiantayyy

Cardenas shared the appalling texts from a woman who was inquiring about hiring her for her wedding. In the now-viral tweet, the exchange between the two women seemed, at first, to be a typical conversation from a potential customer. Things turned for the worst when the woman pried about Cardenas’ sexuality.

The woman could not let it go that Cardenas was gay.

The woman texted: “I have a few questions I was wondering if you could answer?”

“Yes, ma’am,” the 22-year-old replied. ‘What are they?’

“Are you gay?” she asked.

“Yes, ma’am, I am,” Cardenas said. “I’m sorry but what does that have to do with your wedding or my services?”

That’s when the lady went off on her.

According to Gay Star News, Cardenas blocked the woman’s phone number after that last text. She also said that the woman’s comment utterly hurt her.

“I cried and was so mad,” she told the publication, and added, “I have very tough skin and feel like I can handle a lot, but when she told me to change who I am and then she’ll book me, I got upset. It’s so sad that someone had to be so rude to me, and they didn’t even know me.”

Instead of retailing against the woman, Cardenas said she shared the texts to show people to be kind to each other.

Someone on social media blamed Cardenas for sharing too much of her personal life on social media, saying “don’t get mad if people don’t like you for being different.”

She told them on Twitter, I” don’t like this. I am different, everyone is. No two people are the same. Openly sharing my life on my own social media shouldn’t be a bad thing. It’s not that I was offended for someone treating me “differently” it was that her remarks were unnecessary and hurtful.

The most amazing part of this terrible exchange, is that her story has a happy ending.

Fortunately, for every ill-intentioned person, there are hundreds reaching out to Kristian to offer support and kindness.

Kristian has said it has been hard to be accepted especially in Lubbock, Texas.

While this homophobic woman told Kristian she was sinning for being gay…

The lady made no sense whatsoever.

And she was harassed by this woman the entire time…

It’s as if she just wanted to piss her off. We hope she’s seeing the response she’s caused.

Kristian showed so much grace.

She held her composure.

And one thing is for sure, she’s going to get so much more business now.

Thanks, homophobic lady, because of you Cardenas is going to be rolling in clients.

Entertainment – AnyClip – Ozuna Addresses Extortion Plot During Billboard Latin Music Week Q&A, Apologizes Again

Ozuna fans were shocked at the beginning of the year when they heard about an extortion plot that was consuming the reggaetonero. The singer was paying tens of thousands of dollars to keep the extorter from releasing sexually explicit videos of Ozuna when he was a teenager. Despite apologizing in January, Ozuna apologized to fans again at his Billboard Latin Music Week Q&A.

Ozuna started his 45-minute long Q&A with Leia Cobo by directly addressing his fans about the extortion drama. He candidly used his own experience to speak to his fans about the importance of owning up to your action and past.

“People say you don’t have to apologize. Of course, I have to apologize,” Ozuna told Cobo during his Q&A.

The young musician admitted that he felt his fans deserved an explanation for his actions.

For Ozuna, the apologies he has released for the extortion plot were necessary to thank those who stand behind him. Regardless of the fame and success he has experienced, he knows the importance of being open with his fans and the necessity of giving them the most honest representation of who he is.

The singer is most appreciative for his family, who are his biggest supporters.

“My family, my wife and my kids, they know who I am,” Ozuna told the audience when answering a question about balancing negative and positive news coverage. “As long as we are with god we have nothing to fear.”

“Life is balance. It is positive and negative balance. I am not the only person who has been born with difficulties. There are errors that you make when you’re young,” Ozuna added. “I am still a human.”

This is the second time Ozuna has apologized because of the extortion plot.

“Like many young people, I made a mistake, fueled by ignorance,” Ozuna wrote. “Today, I’m not only sorry for what happened, but I condemn it. That’s why I looked for help and I am certain everything will be cleared. Likewise, I’m following the process and am always willing to collaborate with authorities to prevent the evil that resulted from this big mistake. More importantly, I ask my family for forgiveness. They are my life’s priority and I will continue to fight for them always.”

Shortly after his apology, it was announced that late LGBTQ+ trap artist Kevin Fret was behind the extortion.

Kevin Fret’s death at the beginning of the year set off a firestorm of fear and anger within the LGBTQ+ community. Fret was shot and killed while riding his motorbike through San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Ozuna’s team came forward and admitted that Fret was the man behind the extortion plot threatening Ozuna’s career unless he got payments from the singer. However, Ozuna’s manager, after meeting with the San Juan District Attorney, said Ozuna was in no way implicated in the tragic death. Yet, Fret’s mother is adamant that Ozuna is responsible for her son’s death.

“I know that it was him [Ozuna] who ordered my son to be killed, together with Vicente Saavedra,” Hild Rodriguez, Fret’s mother, told Samantha Love on her radio show in April 2019. “Ozuna carries this in his conscience.”

Fans came out strong to support Ozuna during this time and defended him on social media.

There is nothing funny about extortion based on sexually explicit material. That is revenge porn, a form of pornography that is being outlawed and turned into a felony offense in several states in the U.S. Not to mention that the video of Ozuna is allegedly him as a minor and has serious criminal implications if it would be released.
